terms of service
the deal between you and go. plain english, no traps. by using the app or this site, you agree to these terms.
last updated: 19 may 2026
the basics
go is a mobile app and website (go-app.co) for finding people nearby who share your interests and meeting up to do things together. it's operated by the maintainer of go. contact: hello@sleeb.co.uk.
"you" means you, the person using go. "we" means us, the operator. "the service" means the go app, the website, and anything we provide as part of it.
who can use go
- you must be at least 16 years old
- you must be able to enter a contract under your local law
- you must not be barred from the service under previous terms breaches
- you must not be on a sanctions list or in a sanctioned territory
your account
- you're responsible for keeping your password (or google sign-in) secure
- you're responsible for everything done under your account
- one account per person — don't impersonate someone else
- you can delete your account any time from your profile in the app
how to behave on go
go works because people are decent to each other. you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone
- post content that's hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory
- solicit, sell, advertise, or run promotions on the service
- spam, scrape, mass-message, or otherwise abuse the service
- pretend to be someone else or run a fake or duplicate account
- host events involving illegal activity, weapons, drugs, gambling, or minors in unsafe situations
- use go for commercial dating, escort services, or any form of sex work
- try to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service
- collect data on other users beyond what the service intends
your content
your profile, your events, your messages — that's your content. you own it. by posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and serve it back to other go users solely so the service can function. that licence ends when you delete the content (or your account).
you confirm you have the right to post anything you upload — including photos. don't upload other people's photos without their permission.
events you host or join
go is an introduction service, not a meeting host. we don't run the events you find on go. we don't vet attendees beyond requiring them to have a go account. we're not present at your meeting. you are responsible for your own safety.
when you host or join an event:
- you choose to meet other people in person — that's your decision
- meet in public places, especially the first time
- tell a friend where you're going
- trust your instincts; leave if something feels wrong
- if anything illegal happens, contact local authorities — then report it to us
reporting and moderation
if someone breaks these rules, use the report button on their profile or the event. we review reports and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts at our discretion. we don't promise to take any specific action, but we promise to look.
you can also block anyone from your profile screen. that hides their events from you and ends any existing friendship in the app.
fees
go is free to use. if we ever charge for parts of the service, we'll tell you clearly before you pay — no surprise charges.
ending things
you can leave any time: tap "delete account" in your profile and your data is removed.
we can suspend or end your account at any time if we believe you've broken these terms, if continuing puts other users at risk, or if we're required to by law. where possible we'll tell you why. you can appeal by emailing hello@sleeb.co.uk.
our stuff
the go name, logo, design, code, and content (other than your content) are ours. you may not copy or reuse them without permission.
disclaimers
we provide go "as is". we don't promise the service will be perfect, uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular event will be safe, fun, or even take place. we don't make any warranty beyond what's required by law in your jurisdiction.
we are not party to any meeting you arrange through go and we are not responsible for the conduct of anyone you meet.
limit of our liability
to the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for:
- any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss
- loss of profits, business, opportunity, or data
- anything caused by other go users, including at meetings you attend
nothing in these terms limits any liability we cannot legally exclude — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
indemnity
you agree to compensate us for any reasonable losses, costs, and damages we incur because you breached these terms, broke the law, or violated someone else's rights through your use of go.
governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of england and wales. disputes will be heard in the courts of england and wales, except that if you are a consumer outside england and wales you may also bring claims in your local courts.
changes
we may update these terms. material changes will be flagged in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
